Expectations
- Students are expected to participate as much as possible. Daily "attendance" is not required, but encouraged. All LUNGE into Literacy Program teachers and staff will keep daily attendance.
- All students will report to their designated tutoring/activity location after the bell rings. Tutoring sessions will begin promptly at 3:45 p.m.
- All students must come prepared to learn with questions/assignments in which they need assistance with in a specific non-EOC content area.
- Students are expected to have permission to leave the classroom for bathroom/snacks.
- LUNGE in Literacy tutoring sessions will last for 2hrs from 3:45pm - 5:45pm.
- Students requesting bus transportation, must be present for the full tutoring session.
- Only 25 people total permitted per room (this includes the teacher).
- Students and staff are expected to keep appropriate distance to maintain safety within the classroom.
- When seated, students should face the same direction in a classroom or space.
- Face coverings are optional for students and staff, but encouraged.
- Students and staff should wash hands when they are dirty.
- Students and staff should wash hands prior to eating or drinking.
- Students and staff must wash hands after using the restroom.
- If soap and water is not available to wash hands, students and staff may use hand sanitizer with 60% alcohol.
- NHS follows best practices for cleaning and disinfecting with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) registered disinfectants. Specifically, our efforts to protect students and staff include sanitizing touchpoints (places that are touched frequently throughout the day).
- Student participants may be asked to clean their own space when they arrive and prior to leaving the program (this includes desk/table and chair).
